West Haven Sailors Defeated By Bridgeport Barnums

The West Haven Sailors fell to the Bridgeport Barnums 6-1 on Wednesday at West Haven High School.

Bridgeport opened the scoring in the second after Ian Nilsen doubled, scoring one run. The Barnums added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Pablo Aquino tripled to center field, and TJ Bauer singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Bridgeport Barnums piled up nine hits in the game. Bauer drove the middle of the lineup, leading Bridgeport Barnums with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day.
