West Haven Sailors defeat Waterbury Silverbacks 6-1

The West Haven Sailors got on the board in the fifth inning after Tim Capp singled, scoring one run. The Silverbacks could only muster one run in return, falling 6-1.

Derek Porto and Capp each collected two hits for the Sailors. Robert Black, Paden Larkins, Porto, and Capp each drove in one run for West Haven. Riley Reimund stole two bases.

Zach Drewry led Waterbury Silverbacks with one run batted in. Ben Stewart led Waterbury Silverbacks with two hits in three at bats.
