Five Sailors Selected as Representatives in 2026 CCBL All Star Game

The 2026 CCBL All-Star Game will feature five players from West Haven. The Sailors boast two freshman, one sophomore and two seniors out of their five selections. The team also holds two returning All-Stars.
CJ Berlingo wraps up the first half of his freshman year by adding an All-Star appearance. The freshman has served as the team’s main catcher over the season thus far and has made an immediate impact.
Senior starting pitcher John DeBarber made the All-Star Game in the 2024 season and now holds a second appearance to his name in 2026. The starter from Wheaton College adds to his already impressive resume with another All-Star nod.
Another senior making a second All-Star appearance is infielder Ryan Slack. The second consecutive appearance for Slack cements his legacy with West Haven in his final year as a Sailor.
Outfielder Mike Spaddaccino was the other West Haven freshman to be named to the 2026 All-Star team. The first-year ballplayer from Shelton, CT has made an instant impact in his first year with the Sailors.
The fifth and final West Haven All-Star representative is sophomore starter Collin Tenney. The Salem State University product most recently won West Haven’s Pitcher of the Week Award and follows it up with his first All-Star berth.
